[00:00:30] All right, guys, Saul Marquez here with the Outcomes Rocket. Taking a walk here on day two at the HIMSS 2025 conference. As you can see, it is buzzing. Lots going on right now. At this time, it's about 430. So all the booths and the vendors have their happy hours going on. Look, I just want to share some of the insights from the conference to make sure that you guys are getting all the things

[00:00:57] that are top of mind for both provider organizations as well as the vendors in the space. So here we go. There's no doubt that you cannot walk in this space without seeing AI in the booths. AI clinical agents from Oracle. There's AI at Striker. There's AI at LK.

[00:01:20] AI. AI is everywhere. And in combination with AI comes the second trend that we see from the conference, which is security and governance. The cybersecurity talks around things. What do we do? What do we do with DeepSeek? What do we do with inside actors? How do we address these technologies?

[00:01:45] How do we deploy these technologies in a way that is going to be safe, but also take care of some of the biggest problems that we're seeing in the industry around bandwidth issues with clinicians and scaling solutions like value-based care? Which gets me to the third point. A lot of what we're seeing is conversations around value-based care,

[00:02:06] leveraging technology around things like chronic care management, looking at ways for health systems to get that digital transformation that they're looking for, and offering creative solutions that scale around population health and getting the results that people are looking for to provide really kind of what the Medicare, Medicare Advantage programs are really leading the way around with value-based care.

[00:02:35] Looking at a lot of solutions around that space and also different ways that organizations can work with some of the tech companies to make it happen. And so the fourth thing that comes to mind here is a lot of medical device companies that are layering in software into their offerings.

[00:02:56] The days of having hardware-only solutions are gone. So many medical device companies are here at the conference. Topics around interoperability, software as a medical device, and different things that they can do to offer solutions to some of the biggest problems that their provider clients are faced with.

[00:03:18] So just an incredible time to really take a look at these technologies to make a difference, make care more scalable in a time where there's a huge need.
